Nuvi 255W GPS Portable Navigator

 

This Garmin's nüvi 255W beyond its 200-series ancestors by adding top-of-the-line features such as FM traffic updates or MSN Direct content to an entry-level line. Though this alone is phenomonal, Garmin is also introducing some significant improvements with this new series. These improvements include a predictive technology that provides faster satellite lock, terrain maps, a redesigned screen with more information, and an exciting new photo navigation feature [truly utilizing its JPEG capabilities].

 

Simply tap the screen to get your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and fuel stations. With photo navigation, you can download pictures from Garmin Connect Photos and navigate to them.

 

The Garmin Nuvi 255W GPS is compatible with optional enhanced MSN Direct content (subscription and receiver required) and our free Garmin Garage where you can download animated vehicles that show your location on the map.
